PRAYER

Prayer Tools

The power of prayer should not be underestimated. James 5:16-18 declares, “…The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.”

God listens to prayers, answers prayers, and moves in response to prayers.

Jesus taught, “…I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you” (Matt.17:20)

We are dedicated to providing new tools to our members to use as a catalyst to dedicated and disciplined prayer for our President, our nation, our leaders and our troops. Our tools are designed to be able to share with others so that our prayers on behalf of our nation multiply across the country.

As the Lord has promised, prayer will transform our nation by transforming individual lives, one heart at a time.

Ask and He Answers

What a delight to get an invitation – whether it's to a movie, a dinner party or a night out on the town. It means someone's thinking of you and wants to spend time with you. Throughout the Scriptures, God sends you an invitation…to pray. He wants to spend time with you and He wants to give you the desires of your heart.
Ask rain from the Lord in the season of the spring rain, from the Lord who makes the storm clouds, and he will give them showers of rain.
Zechariah 10:1

But, of course, there are guidelines such as delighting in the Lord (Psalm 37:4), asking with right motives (James 4:2-3) and according to His will (Matthew 6:10). As you spend time with the Lord in prayer, He changes your "wanter." As you read the Bible, you begin to want what the Heavenly Father wants.

Ask according to the desires He puts in your heart, confident that He will give them to you. Today's verse in Zechariah was written with assurance. Ask and He will answer (Matthew 7:7 and John 14:13). Be persistent and do not give up as you pray for your country to turn wholeheartedly to Him.
